What You’ll Be Doing:
As a receptionist, you will:
* Contribute flexibly to customer welfare and support services, specifically to have a working knowledge and the necessary interpersonal and administrative skills to assist with.
* Provide a flexible approach to cover and assist the team to ensure both reception areas are staffed in line with business needs. Working hours will include at least one evening per week.
* Actively show a commitment to the Departmental Strategic Objectives.
* Understand the wider roles within the team and work flexibly within the team to be able to assist as and when necessary, especially the Student Services Assistants.
* Work under the supervision and direction of the Senior Student Services Assistant on a day-to-day basis.
* Representing the College in a professional manner in line with the College’s customer care standards and adhere to the Reception Uniform standards**.**
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
* Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in either Administration or Customer Service.
* Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Be a confident communicator with a helpful, approachable attitude.
* Have a good understanding of customer welfare and support services, with the ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to a wide range of enquiries.
