We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Head of Teaching and Learning for Personal Development, Behaviour, and Attitudes to join our team. This role offers a fantastic chance to contribute to the development of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment across the College, ensuring that our tutorial programme is of the highest quality. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning the programme with the requirements of the Ofsted Inspection Framework, statutory guidance, and key College priorities, while becoming an integral part of our thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Head of Teaching and Learning for Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes, you will:
- Assist in the development of Teaching, Learning & Assessment across the College.
- Ensure that that the College’s tutorial programme is of high quality and meets the requirements of the Ofsted Inspection Framework, statutory guidance and key college priorities.
- Ensure the development and implementation of a highly effective pastoral provision and processes across the College, including pastoral curriculum and 1:1 reviews.
- Lead on the quality assurance of teaching and learning and compliance with the Ofsted judgements of Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes to ensure requirements are implemented effectively and consistently and standardised across the College.
- Work with the Faculty Heads of Teaching and Learning to ensure an excellent skills development programmes and an inspiring tutorial programme which meets the requirements of the EIF.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
- Hold a master’s degree in education, technology or related discipline – Desirable.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Are a qualified teacher with substantial teaching experience.
- Have a GCSE grade 4/C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Have completed or be willing to work towards the Advanced Practitioner programme.
