Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays

Contractual hours: 37 hours per week

Basis: Full Time

The Role 

 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator to support learners and employers throughout the apprenticeship recruitment process. In this varied and fast‑paced role, you’ll help screen applicants, manage records, promote vacancies, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll also play an active part in engaging candidates, supporting events, and raising awareness of apprenticeship opportunities across the region. If you're organised, confident communicating with people at all levels, and passionate about helping individuals take their next steps, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support applicants with pre‑employment checks for apprenticeships delivered by Northern Skills Group.
  • Conduct telephone screenings for new applicants and arrange first‑stage interviews.
  • Set up and invigilate initial assessments at first‑stage interviews.
  • Support with documentation creation, chasing outstanding information from candidates and employers, and completing.  end‑process documentation.
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to apprenticeship applicants, including CV writing support.
  • Respond to applicant and student queries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with active candidates to support progression.
  • Provide support to college students to help them transition into apprenticeship opportunities.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • GCSE C or above in Maths and English (Or equivalent).
  • Customer Service Qualification Level 2 or above (desirable).
  • Evidence of a desire to work in a busy office environment.
  • Team player.
  • Enthusiasm.
  • Punctuality.
  • Commitment to quality of work with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continued personal development.
