We have an exciting opportunity for an Assessor in Mechanical Engineering (Training Advisor) to join our NSG Construction & Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Mechanical Engineering professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

As an Assessor in Mechanical Engineering (Training Advisor), you will:

• Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Mechanical Engineering.
• Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas.
• Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students.
• Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.

What We’re Looking For: 

We seek candidates who:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or a relevant Degree - Essential.

• Have English and Maths GCSE grade 4/C or above or equivalent - Essential.

• Have a TAQA or A1 assessor qualification, or willing to work towards - Desirable.

• Have current knowledge and experience in teaching Mechanical Engineering - Desirable.

• Demonstrate effective classroom management, excellent time management, and strong communication skills.

• Are proficient in preparing teaching materials using Information Learning Technology.
