Reporting to:  Personal Development Lead

Salary: £23,555 - £24,631 per annum.

Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays

Contractual hours: 37 per week

Pension: NEST

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Construction and Engineering faculty as an Administrator. In this role, you will provide effective, accurate, and high-quality administrative services across all business areas, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and supportive team, where your contribution will make a real impact.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Construction and Engineering Administrator, you will:

  • Assist in the preparation of departmental reports.

  • Liaise with parents, carers and external services to arrange learner meetings.

  • Provide clerical support for the college registry system, Pro-Solution, and support with diary management.

  • Ensure the maintenance of individual learning plans.

  • Support the Attendance Officers with learner attendance data, as well as liaising with parents, carers and learners by answering calls and dealing with queries.

  • Co-ordinate departments returns in line with the College’s Financial, HR and Quality procedures.

  • Assist with the organisation of parent’s evenings.

  • Assist the HR department with departmental recruitment processes.

 

What We’re Looking For:

We seek candidates who:

  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent.
  • Have a Grade 4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Have  experience of working in a busy office.
  • Have experience of working in an educational environment (Desirable).
