We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Curriculum Team Leader – Skills Bootcamp to join our Adult & Community Learning department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the overseeing the effective planning, coordination, and operational delivery of bootcamp programmes cross college, while being an integral part of our thriving academic community.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Curriculum Team Leader – Skills Bootcamp, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to align bootcamp delivery with employer needs, ensuring that programme content and outcomes are responsive to current industry demands and contribute to sustainable employer partnerships.
  • Take ownership of ensuring all learner milestones within Skills Bootcamps are achieved on time and to standard, through proactive monitoring, intervention, and collaboration with delivery teams to support learner progression and success.
  • Lead monthly cross-departmental meetings with all key stakeholders involved in Skills Bootcamps to proactively identify and address emerging issues, ensuring timely interventions and maintaining programme quality and continuity.
  • Work with Assistant Principal/Associate Directors to ensure high quality and successful delivery of Bootcamp Programmes.
  • Work with the Associate Director of Quality to prepare the team for internal and external inspection including the development of a SAR and QuiP and ensuring staff and student surveys are completed in a timely manner.

 

What We’re Looking For:

We seek candidates who:

  • Hold a relevant qualification at degree level.
  • Are qualified teachers or willing to undertake an appropriate teaching qualification upon appointment.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous professional development and capability enhancement.
  • Hold GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in both Maths and English.
  • Have experience in curriculum planning and quality assurance within a further education or adult learning environment - Desirable.
  • Possess knowledge of Skills Bootcamp funding, compliance requirements, and performance metrics - Desirable.
