Contract Type: NSG Business Support – Hourly Paid
Salary: £18.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Are you passionate about empowering individuals through education and career development? Middlesbrough College Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Information Advice & Guidance (IAG) Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment for employed learners undertaking the Level 3 IAG qualification as part of our Skills Bootcamp programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting workforce development in collaboration with employer partners. You’ll deliver engaging classroom sessions and follow up with workplace assessments, helping learners apply their knowledge and achieve their qualification goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured classroom-based training for the Level 3 IAG qualification.
- Conduct workplace assessments to support learners in applying their skills.
- Plan and deliver schemes of work and lesson plans tailored to learner needs.
- Monitor learner progress in consultation with employers.
- Contribute to programme performance management and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employer partners.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 Information Advice and Guidance
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above or equivalent)
- TAQA or A1 Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
Desirable:
- Award in Internal Verification or V1 (or willingness to work towards)
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in delivering IAG services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and support learners
- Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
Other Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (required to undertake workplace assessments across locations)
