Salary: £23,555 - £24,631 per annum
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Full time,Permanent

The Role
The Work Placement Administrator provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Placement Team, ensuring the smooth coordination, monitoring, and delivery of student work placements. The role includes maintaining accurate databases, supporting quality assurance processes, tracking attendance, managing DBS/CSCS requirements, and contributing to wider departmental administration. The post holder plays a key part in supporting the College’s commitment to Equality, Diversity, Quality, and Health & Safety.
Key Responsibilities
Teach students enrolled in a range of courses as assigned by your line manager, ensuring your teaching develops outstanding learners.
Implement appropriate feedback and assessment systems to accurately check learning, adapting teaching as required to ensure learner progress.
Lead the staff in your delivery team under the management of the Curriculum Manager.
Operate within the Quality Assurance framework.
Manage courses or parts of courses as required, including administration and organisation.
Contribute to curriculum innovation, development, and implementation.
Maintain a professional learning environment in the classroom consistently implementing the College’s behaviour management processes as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a related area, a PGCE, experience of teaching on Health course at level 2 and 3 including T-level.
Experience Leading a team and teaching experience within a Further Education college across L2 & L3 health and social care qualifications including T-level is essential.
Possess sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist knowledge to lead the curriculum provision and teach on programmes in the area.
Recent industry-related experience relevant to the academic discipline
Detailed knowledge of relevant course subject matter and examination and assessment requirements
