Reporting to: Assistant Manager

Salary: Up to £34,225 per annum

Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

Contractual Hours: 37 hours per week

Basis: Full-time, Permanent

Pension: NEST

The role

 

Are you a qualified Electrician with a passion for developing others?  Do you want a role where you can inspire, support, and guide the next generation of electrical professionals?  We are looking for an Electrical Installation Assessor to join our team.

As an Electrical Installation Assessor you will pay a vital role in helping learners achieve their full Apprenticeship standards.  You will manage a caseload of learners, support them throughout their journey, and work closely with employers to ensure high quality training and assessment.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging learning and assessment activities.
  • Conducting induction, initial assessments, and developing individual learning plans.
  • Monitoring learner progress and preparing them for end point assessment.
  • Building strong relationships with employers.
  • Ensuring a high standards of safety, safeguarding and compliance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement cycle.

What are seeking someone who is:

  • A qualified Electrician with Level 3 Electrical Installation (essential).
  • English and Maths GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent.
  • TAQA or A1 assessor qualification or willing to work towards.
  • Award in Internal Verification or willing to work towards.
  • Passionate about training and developing others.
  • Motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
  • An excellent communicator with strong people skills.
  • Experience in teaching.
