We are seeking a reliable and professional driver to provide safe and comfortable transport for students attending curriculum-related events and off-site enrichment activities. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of care and professionalism while supporting the educational experience of our students through timely and secure travel. What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Hourly Paid Mini Bus Driver, you will:
- Provide a flexible and responsive approach to students.
- Be actively involved in the attainment of objectives contained within the College’s Development Plan.
- Actively implement the College’s Health & Safety policy, as appropriate.
- Provide transport for students to curriculum related events and off site enrichment activities in a safe comfortable and professional manner.
- Carry out driver’s vehicle checks, and to carry out basic maintenance.
- Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents.
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use.
- Refuel vehicles as required.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.
- Maintain and help to promote a good College image, working attire should be worn at all times and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
What We’re Looking For:
- To hold a current, clean and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence.
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC).
- To hold a First Aid qualification.
